We are a grassroots organization focused on advocacy, education, and restoration. When you join us or renew your membership, you’re taking action to protect the future of steelhead, salmon, and trout fishing in the Pacific Northwest. If you’re interested in getting involved with a fishing group that offers both regional advocacy influence and a deep connection to local waters, Northwest Steelheaders is the organization for you.
There are multiple ways for you to get involved with our community from joining our membership, supporting us through donations, or volunteering. When you choose to become a member, you'll learn about fishing events and volunteer opportunities before the general public, and enjoy exclusive access to the Columbia Sportswear Employee Store!
Membership
Join or renew your Steelheaders membership to immerse yourself in a community of like-minded conservation anglers. We are dedicated to protecting and restoring our coldwater fisheries, increasing fishing opportunities, and welcoming new anglers into the fishing community. Sign up and get involved with a chapter today. We have three membership options:
• Sustaining membership is a minimum of $10 per month.
• Annual membership is a minimum of $40 per year.

Make a 100% tax-deductible donation today to ensure sport anglers have continued access and opportunity to healthy and sustainable salmon and steelhead fisheries. Since 1960, the Northwest Steelheaders has been dedicated to enhancing and protecting recreational fisheries and the habitats upon which our fisheries depend. Help us continue to provide programs and services that advocate for fish and fishing opportunities for people of all backgrounds and ages.
Volunteer
Volunteers are vital for advancing our education and policy goals. At the chapter level, they contribute thousands of hours each year to protect and restore our fisheries. If you are already a member, you can volunteer for our programs and events. Note that you must undergo a background check to be part of our volunteer program.
