The Association of Northwest Steelheaders (ANWS) is proud to announce the appointment of James Adkins as our new Executive Director. James has successfully been working as our communications director since December of 2024, and we have been very impressed with his work and the impact he has had. Our membership has grown, and our financial situation has improved since James has started. Specifically, he has already proven himself as a grant writer, fundraiser, event manager and has done a great job with our newsletter and other communication work. He was a natural fit to step into this role.

Bob Keerins recently passed away and we fondly remember him as a dedicated angler, conservationist and mentor to many. Bob was instrumental in securing funding for the very first Family Fish Camp. You can visit Bob's obituary here.
